How to Save the Environment:

An Analogy   ---  Grandpa's Car Keys:   Those of you who live in, or were brought up in a large, close family unit, realize that sooner or later the time arrives when you have to take away grandpa's car key and prevent him from ever driving the family car again.   It's not that grandpa is evil or stupid or anything like that.   It's a survival issue.   It's that he's no longer in touch with present-day reality.  

The rural roads and minimum-traffic, main streets have given way to 70-mile-per-hour freeways and incredibly-busy, city streets.   What worked sixty or seventy years ago no longer works.   Although he still lives by them, many of grandpa's core beliefs have been proven to be wrong, obsolete, and are no longer functional.   References:
