We Assume that what Is Will Continue To Be.

We, here in the United States, take so many things for granted that we are almost completely ignorant of what life would be without them.   The American infrastructure has been the underlying context that has allowed this country to excell beyond all others for more years than most of us have been alive.   Unfortunately, much of that infrastructure is being intentionally dismantled, destroyed and/or simply allowed to deteriorate for lack of maintenance.   We assume what is will continue to be, but what if it doesn't?

You can survive without electricity, running water, sewers systems, streets, roads, bridges, and the like.   You can even survive without your present residence, but there is one thing that we cannot survive without, and that a functioning safety and security network.  

No matter how well you may be prepared for an emergency, there are millions who are and will continue to be totally unprepared, and hundreds of thousands of these people are young males with guns.  

If we do not make local-level preparations for the demise of state and national emergency  assistance, we will be at the mercy of roving gangs of hoodlums whose motto will be "Rape, plunder and pillage today, for tomorrow we almost certainly die."   People with the mentality of the members of the Mexican drug cartels, and/or with the mentality of the Afghanistan war lords will be free to do anything they choose.  

If you are naive enough to believe the the present state and national leaders will help in a major national or global disaster, you are in for a big surprise, a surprise that could be and very likely will be deadly.   If you expect you and your family to stay alive, you'd best be working on making The Peoples Foundations Network a manifested reality.
